Most of your words are unnecessary. All too often you speak simply to fill the space with sound, because you feel too uncomfortable with the silence. But this silence is golden. Only in silence you can hear God speak to you. Only in silence can a real prayer, a heart prayer be born. Next time you start chattering, stop and feel into the silence, feel its shape, its texture, and then slowly and silently say only what really has to be said.

the great advantage of having nothing is that everything becomes a gain. Losing everything is at the same time the scariest, as well as the most liberating experience you can have. When you have something, - anything, you've got to protect it from disappearing. And so worry becomes a resident in your heart. When you've got nothing, your heart overflows with gratitude for every offering you receive.

Beloved, I would have you be aware of issues that may arise that would take you out of the flow of My Spirit by taking on responsibility for things that are not yours to deal with. Stop and think before you act. Not every act that seems good and kind is beneficial to you or to those around you. Ask Me for wisdom and confirmation of what you set your heart and hands to do. I will reveal My perfect will in every situation if you will sincerely seek My heart, says the Lord.

Loved ones, This is a very important verse and reflection to keep close to your heart. No matter how old you are, remember this verse and reflection for the rest of your lives!
Jesus is always waiting and willing to accept us back into His presence. No matter how caught up we may get in thetraps that life offers, Jesus is waiting for us to return to Him! Jesus is always desiring for us to enjoy a close relationship with Him. Jesus wants us to come back to Him and swim in His presence. Don't let Satan whisper in your ear that you are too dirty and have sinned too much to be welcomed back by God. Such a lie limits the power of God's Grace, and all that Jesus did for us on the cross.
I remember the way that my three children used to skip and dance around the house with their hearts filled with the Love of Jesus, singing songs of praise. We too can return our hearts to Jesus and be filled with passion and joy!
It's very important to remember that Jesus is passionately in Love with each of us! Jesus deeply desires for all of us, no matter how far we have fallen into sin, to return to His love and care!
Jesus is right here reaching for you!
Reach back, and He will welcome you home!

Retire from the world each day to some private spot, even if it be only the bedroom (for a while I retreated to the furnace room for want of a better place). Stay in the secret place till the surrounding noises begin to fade out of your heart and a sense of God's presence envelops you. Deliberately tune out the unpleasant sounds and come out of your closet determined not to hear them. Listen for the inward Voice till you learn to recognize it. Stop trying to compete with others. Give yourself to God and then be what and who you are without regard to what others think. Reduce your interests to a few. Don't try to know what will be of no service to you. Avoid the digest type of mind—short bits of unrelated facts, cute stories and bright sayings. Learn to pray inwardly every moment. After a while you can do this even while you work. Practice candor, childlike honesty, humility. Pray for a single eye. Read less, but read more of what is important to your inner life. Never let your mind remain scattered for very long. Call home your roving thoughts. Gaze on Christ with the eyes of your soul. Practice spiritual concentration. Of God and Men, 128-129.
