A Christmas Invitation

A Christmas invitation is an outreach musical.
Its purpose is to invite the audience to begin (revive)
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The key word is
“come” and the key image is an open door. The musical is
composed of three sections that build a bridge to the
listener, bringing them progressively toward a moment of
decision for Christ.

The 1st section, which might be called “Invitation to Celebrate,” creates a warm, joyous atmosphere and invites the listener to celebrate the Christmas season. The songs in this section are:

This Gift

The 2nd section or “Invitation to Bethlehem” invites the
congregation to travel to Bethlehem and re-experience the
story of the First Christmas. The songs are:
The Road to Bethlehem
Great is The Lord Almighty with
O Come, O Come, Emmanuel and
Lord, You Have Promised.
Now All Is Well
Can You Hear the Song?
Holy Is He with His Glorious Name,
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and
Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty

The Final section, “Invitation to Jesus” invites the audience to meet Jesus personally. This section includes the songs:
Come Just As You Are with Just As I Am
Come and Worship Medley

The message in this ministry:
“Come just as you are and I will meet you there. For I
loved you so much, I have given My Son. And if you will
believe in Him, you will never die, but will live with Me
forever.”
